Random Drug and Alcohol Screening

Onsite drug testing is mandatory along with daily/nightly check in procedures with staff.  Drug testing and breathalyzers are random, on average 2-3 times a week. We stay current with the latest trends of abuse and pay careful attention to means of altering the mind and mood that traditionally do not result in positive results. Certain restrictions are placed on common every day over the counter products that too can produce euphoric or sedating effects.  The panels used for detection of mind/mood altering substances are extensive and more inclusive than a traditional sober living environment. 

Clients must also submit to drug testing before and after overnight passes taken with family members, and approved sober supports.  If a client for whatever reason cannot submit to drug testing, they will be dismissed from our facility immediately.   If a screening is positive for any substance, all efforts are made to directly transition a client back to their original treatment center or to a detoxification facility.  We have a zero tolerance policy and will not compromise the safety of Royal Recovery Resources or Residents at any time.
